Unions
Union membership has been declining for the last half century. 50 years ago a third of the work force was unionized. In 1983 is was 20%, and by last year that number had dropped to about 12.5%. How has this affected the wage of the average American worker? I have my suspicions that it has been one of the causes of our race to the bottom.
