It's funny, I started out supporting Edwards. Then he dropped out. I switched to another candidate. Voted for that person here in Ohio. I have remained incredibly dispassionate about the process. I knew that one day I may need to support the other candidate. So I remained detached, fully prpared to fight for and defend whoever received the nomination.
Unfortunately, supporters on both sides became emotionally involved in this race like their candidate was a family member. And any campaign attack from the other side was like calling their mom a whore or something. So now the most vocal of both campaigns have quite literally turned into babies. If they don't get their way then the country, their families, their children and quite possibly the whole world will have to suffer through another four years of NeoCon hell.
The really sad part is that neither Obama or Clinton has taken any of this personally. They both know it is just politics. They both know that it will make them stronger against McCain in November.
But the babies, that 30% of Hillary supporters and that 20% of Obama supporters would rather see McCain elected than grow up.
